This photo was taken on a day in October when we set two families free. I caught this candid moment between Emmanuel and the Anwar Masih family, who that had spent the last three years in slavery. Emmanuel is hilarious and loves to bring the joy out in people!
Anwar Masih father was suffering heart problems that made it especially difficult to work at the kiln, and the children were forced to work harder to make up for his condition. But thank God for Harvest Time Ministries Youth Group in the US, who paid this family's debt and gave them a new life together.
But just to add to the joy of being redeemed, after we took this photo Anwar was prayed for and was healed! All the pain left his chest. This was just one of countless healings we saw God do in Pakistan during the October trip...more to come soon!
Freeslaves.org is run by Acacia Projects, a registered NZ based charity (CC54139). We employ a team of Pakistani people to redeem families from slavery and establish them in work. We also run seven schools for enslaved children, develop small communities, provide aid to those in need, and run seminars for spiritual growth.
If you'd like to join us and feel the joy, please visit freeslaves.org/promo or leave us a message. We'd love to connect! ...

No longer a slave!
This is one of the many children we hosted at our freedom banquet in October. It is hard to believe that only five months ago his life was spent making bricks...now he's free, being educated and has a future! ...

Stoked to Celebrate with the Safdar brothers!
The Safdar Sharid family were enslaved for 11 years before they were redeemed. It was amazing to meet the family in person at our freedom banquet! The boys are doing well and we are getting them quality sunglasses to protect their eyes.
Thanks again to those people who helped to put on the banquet--it was an incredible blessing. Many of the families had never been to anything like this ever before, not even a restaurant! They were deeply touched and will remember this day for the rest of their lives. ...
